I applied for ETA in May which needed further review. I got an email from CIC asking me to link my application to my cic to enable me upload a request document. Unfortunately I wasnt able to link that application as I think I may have mistakenly entered a wrong info when I first applied. So I applied for anther ETA the same day which I was able to link to my cic. I uploaded the requested document and I was granted ETA.
However after the 30 days I was given to provide documents for the first application expired and nothing was provided, the first application was denied even though the second application was already approved.
I recently ordered a GCMS note and in it the agent noted that on my FOSS he/she had found adverse information about a TRV that had been refused and quoted the application number for the first ETA application I made. In my schedule A I answered no to the question if I had been refused entry/Visa to Canada as I didn't realise ETA is classified as a visa because I am from a visa free country.
My question now is should I contact the VO to explain and if so which means of contact should I use.
