hi everyone, i was just wondering if anyone had their parents or grand parents come visit Canada with the super visa?
here is her time line:
application picked up in manila: june 16, 2012
medical requested: june 29, 2012
medical forwarded: july 12, 2012
visa received: August9, 2012

now my only problem is getting her ticket. im not so sure what i should buy, some say visitors with only one way ticket have problems in POE, but it makes no sense as she is allowed to stay for 2 years? anyone else with this problem? im in Montreal Quebec Canada. thanks for your input

I would assume a one way ticket would be fine considering you can't purchase a plane ticket 2 years in advance... maybe show proof of funds at POE showing she can purchase a ticket when the visa is closer to expiring. They do like to see prrof of return home but in these cases when you can't purchase that far in advance what other choices do you really have?

Hi Angelitosuarez, i have the same concern as yours.
My wife and my daughter will be flying to Canada soon with TRV pero i'm not sure if one-way or two-way ba ang kukunin nila ticket.
Work Permit ako and sabay kmi nag apply (Work Permit & Temporary Resident Visa) kaso pag kuha ko ng Passport nmin akin lng may Visa tas ni-require cla mag medical and diko na cla maantay kasi minamadali nko ng employer ko. Dito nko sa Canada and susunod na rin cla by next week.

Nkarating na mother-in-law mo dyan? One-way ticket lng ba kinuha nila? wla naging problem sa IO sa pinas o sa IO sa Canada?

Thanks sa advice.
