Should I apply for TRV right after applying for family sponsorship?

I just applied for family sponsorship of my wife. Now it's a long process and I found some suggest to apply for TRV after we get the first stage approval of the PR application.
But is it also a good idea that I apply for her TRV right now? Did anyone have any experience of such? (refusal / approval of TRV if they apply right after applying for family sponsorship)

No difference whether before of after the sponsorship application.

You can apply for a TRV. Your wife needs to show that she is coming to visit so funds, travel history and ties to home country. Chances are low but she can try.

It's always a better idea to apply for TRV before applying for sponsorship for a better chance of approval. We applied for TRV after a month of submitting our sponsorship application and got rejected twice due to conflicts of interest. Same thing happened to a few other people I heard. You can try but chances are low unless you can show strong ties to back home.
