Should I apply for Super Visa for my mom?

My mom is from a visa exempt country so she doesn't need visitor permit to enter Canada. I have been told that she should come to Canada and extend her stay online rather than going through all the hassles of super visa. Any suggestion? Should she apply for super visa or just extend her stay while she's in Canada?

The advantage of the super visa is that your mom would be able to stay for up to two years before having to renew her stay, for up to 10 years. The visa will expire by the expiry date of her passport, and is not transferable.
