Guys, looking at how many applicants there are in the pool with low CRS, why don't more people opt for PNP? Is there any downside to PNP besides cost and time?

I looked into OINP as well and there seems to be a requirement to present intent to live in Ontario. How is that demonstrated?

Other than 'province inviting part' there are following limitations:
1. You must intend to live in that province. Not doing so and still presenting yourself in pnp will be fraud.
2. You need to present all your documents to province first to get nomination before proceeding with your PR application, so somewhat more documentation.

Benefits ofcourse are reduced crs criteria in specific fields. For some folks, this might be the only feasible way to sell residency.

Yeah so about this point.. how does anyone who's never been to Canada prove this intention?

You would need to explain why you think the province would suit your career and lifestyle based on your own research. Some factors would be healthcare, NOC demand, education standards for kids, etc. Basically the same way someone applying for a job or for college needs to explain why they think that college/job suits them and vice versa.
