Hi,

My sister is moving to Canada soon for school. She wants to ship many things, including constructional toys, household decoration, small kitchen appliances, etc. Estimated 3 boxes, about 50 lbs/box. We are wondering what courier is best to use in terms of fees, customs clearance assistance, etc. She is living in the U.S. as an international student.

Anyone?

Thanks in advance

Hi,
I am in the same dilemma now. Did you ship all the items to Canada? what mode did you use?

I just sent some of them using FedEx since it was expensive, about $70/box if I remember it right, but I was lucky. FedEx made a mistake so I got free delivery.

Only $70 for 50lbs/box. That doesn’t seem right. Usually it is more economical to buy in Canada. The cost of shipping by air is usually much higher than $70 for 50lbs.

Oops! My bad. Not 50lbs. $70/25lbs and also depends on your box size. Thanks for your correction.
