Hi All

Is it a problem if there's a mismatch between the shared address history in the sponsor's PR app compared to the PA's PR app?

Basically, my wife and I shared an address briefly, before she became a PR and before we got married. We got married after she landed, and now she's sponsoring me. We've now discovered that the address (for when we stayed together) she had on her express entry app was off by about a month. My own app has the correct dates.

Not sure if there's a potential problem here.

Should be fine, unless you lived together long enough (or close to long enough) to be considered common-law before you were married. If you only lived together for a few months, a month discrepancy isn't a big deal.

Ok, thanks I sure hope so. I've been sweating bullets after reading all sorts of stuff on CanLii.

If you are very worried, you can simply submit a letter of explanation about the mistake.

The app is in process already. Waiting on SA.

Right, I assumed so. I'm saying you could submit one via the IRCC web form

Hi there. No need to resubmit the entire form again right? Just an LoE should do?
Yup, just a LoE should be fine. Again, I don't even know that it's necessary, but it will definitely help calm your worries about them discovering it and thinking it was intentional

Oh yes, I need that calming effect!
