you should submit the scanned copy of the hard copy , the pdf file is just for creating a profile

I have a very basic query.
I have downloaded the pdf of WES evaluation but do they also send any hard copy?
I have not received any hard copy of the report from them. Please let me know whether the pdf will be sufficient?

Also, for PR application after I receive ITA, can I submit the print out of pdf evaluation report or is the original hard copy necessary?

Mine says documents received-review in progress ...your says only documents received ? I think they started processing mine already, check yours again, I am not getting any update mails so far....

Sorry Ezgi, I wrote that wrong. 23th February they changed my status to "documents received-review in progress" Yesterday 8th March my status updated to "Evaluation in Progress" finally..

20th business day will be completed on 23th march.

I'm hoping to catch 58th ray of hope

Sorry Ezgi, I wrote that wrong. 23th February they changed my status to "documents received-review in progress" Yesterday 8th March my status updated to "Evaluation in Progress" finally..

20th business day will be completed on 23th march.

I'm hoping to catch 58th ray of hope

Same here they replied to my email in a week! I am not sure why did it cost $300+ USD to get this poor service,I think there should be a more efficient way in doing the assessment.

Hi All,

Me from bangalore.

I did get a response from WES stating that "Please be advised, that due to extremely high volume for FSWP, credential assessments are estimated to take 20 business days from the time of receipt and acceptance of all required documents and payment.

We are making every effort to complete reports as quickly as possible. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience but thank you for your patience." 48 hrs post this email my credentials were updated.

Below are my timelines

Applied ECA and Paid fees : 28th Dec 2016
Sent all the documents to WES by Fedex: 29-JAN-2017 (had to wait for transcripts from mysore university)
Courier delivered to WES : 4-FEB-2017
Sent an email using support option about the delay :7-MAR-2017
Staus changed to Review completed :10-MAR-2017

Trick is to write them an email if u feel the ECA report is getting delayed after which, the status will be updated

Hey All,

I sent my documents on 28 Jan which got delivered to WES Canada on 2 Feb.
Status - review in progress on 9 Feb.
Status - evaluation under progress on 22 Feb.

Still awaiting for my report. My friend and I submitted the documents on the same day. However, he has already received his report on 2 March.
I hope i receive mine before the 15th March draw.

2. 1st email regarding status update: 4 Feb, 2017
3. Status update to "Review in Progress": 6 Feb, 2017
4. 2nd email regarding status update: 8th Feb, 2017
5. Received an email saying that evaluation will be completed by 6 March, 2017.
6. Status update to "Evaluation in Progress": 15 Feb, 2017

I have been waiting ever since. Have written them 2 more emails but to no avail. They dont reply back and neither do they answer your calls.

I hope I get my ECA ASAP. These WES people are seriously very slow.

I am not going to be surprised if they remove that 20 day thing from their website.....because it seems so clear that the 20 day thing doesnt work for the most time.... and that is why we are pushing them.... I base my arguments on it when I send them a mail (and yes I sent my 3rd mail)

I have called WES today and waited over 20 min till they picked up. My documents have been under " review in progress" for 20 business days !!! The customer service representative told me its 20 days from the change of status to " evaluation in progress". So it seems that the process takes 2-3 month to have it done.

I think this is one of the worst services Canada can show to prospective immigrants.

If thats the case I m doomed... I received my ITA based on my Canadian Bachelors and I did not state my masters, so did not receive any points for it... however after receiving ITA I thought maybe I should get it done "just in case"... you know if I loose points for age and stuff it would be my savior.... oh well....
