Can anyone please share their experience "upon landing" who has a valid PR card but not completed 730 days in Canada in person?
I have been reading posts for help prior to landing but I could not see anyone sharing what happened "at the POE"?
Is there anyone that his PR card is revoked as soon as they landed?
Or been questioned throughly by the immigration office upon landing for being away that long??
Seen anyone exposed to such treatment at customs?
Please share your experiences upon landing in detail.
Any information you share is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Edgo

I found one here but not detailed.

I share my own experience with my question...
I have passed the POE without any questions asked at all. It took 2 min. and officer just asked for my PR card and did not ask any details. FYI.

Thanks for sharing.
Can I ask how you have crossed the border? Was it by air or by land? If by land, in a bus/train or in a private car?

There was one member on this forum whose son was a student overseas and was coming back to visit and they took his PR card. I believe he even still met the residency requirements so they should not have. I also know a woman personally who had moved to the US and was coming back to visit. They wanted to take her PR card but she still met the residency requirements and so she refused to hand it over and in the end she kept it.

Yeah, that happens. Sometimes people get away with it. If you did, lucky you, but if you apply to renew your PR card and lie, that it misrepresentation. If found out, you could lose PR status.

Even though no proof documents are being asked, but how they know that a person did not meet residence obligation?

very nice and important subject and for sure little personal experiences at the poe , so it would be great if anyone who passes by it share

this site is amazing
