Just created my profile and got 451 points. No LMIA, no PNP yet. I met CEC and FSW requirements.
I am eligible for ON PNP – master stream as well. Here are my options:
1. Apply for PNP to get the 600 points.
2. Have my husband take the IELTS to make the score 20 points higher to 471.
3. Wait to see what is the lowest score in the first draw and decide whether I should do option 1 or option 2.
Here is my question: is it necessary for me to apply for ON PNP? My husband had ON PNP and submitted to CIC early 2014, but since he is now working out of Ontario, we have to withdraw the application (even if he will eventually come back to Ontario and I am working in Ontario)? If 451 or 471 is enough to be drawn, then I would rather not go through the PNP, which will cost me $1500 and constraint my residency in Ontario.
I am aiming to get PR by the end of the year.
