Hi everyone,

For getting PR through CEC - its clear that one should not plan or intend to reside in Quebec, understood.

But what if a month or two after i get my PR and i get a job offer from Quebec, which is irresistable. If i move there, I believe my PR wont be at risk any more, since i'd have already got it in my wallet by then.

But will moving to QC, impact on my citizenship application later?

Any experiences here or perhaps hear say (reliable ones though :) )

Cheers.

I asked my lawyer this as my boyfriend is québécois (but we live in Toronto currently). According to my lawyer there is no issue on moving to quebec or impact on citizenship
Hope this helps!

Can you share your experiences here, please? Did you move to Quebec and if yes, did you face any issue ?

hey Victor. Mannn...that post was soooo old. For a moment, i thought somebody hacked into my profile and wrote that pretending it to be me. Later when i saw the original post date, then i realized, why i wrote. I guess I was waiting for PRC back then and also looking for work. Anyways, no i ended up staying in Ontario. Got a job offer from a company, hiring manager was considerate enough to understand the gap in my work was due to incompetent Immigration policies which made me JOBLESS - NOT ALLOWED TO WORK, for almost 2 years. Anyways, thats water under the bridge. Its 2021 now. Wish i had started driving truck back then, was much younger. Very difficult to make it in corporate world here.
