To anyone,

I have one question to ask. I am processing my application to canada. I have my family (my husband and 2 daughters). I am planning of going there by myself first and then will follow me once I am economically settled there. My question is should the money/fund that I have in the bank for the show money should be for only one person or for the four of us? (1 person = 11,086 canadian dollars or 4 persons = 20,599 canadian dollars)

You have to arrive with the funds for 4.

The principle applicant must show funds for all accompanying members,

If you're going alone and wish to sponsor them later then 11,086.

If you wish to take the whole family then 20,599.

However, it is advised / if applicable, to take the whole family with you, get their PR cards and then send them back.. As family sponsorship takes a long while to complete and has its own requirements..

As I said the OP has to show the amount of funds for the family included in has application, whether they accompany him or not.
