Serious advice please what you will do if you are in my situation

Hi,

Please advice me,

I got promotion in my current job last week in Senior position.
I have work permit for uk
My wife got her visa for uk also
I have one vacant place in my company and my wife can get job in this place she will work
under me and I m working for big US MNC and my visa for Canada is under process hopefully
I will get AOR soon.

Now doubt and confusion I have

1) Should I apply for my wife in my current company it is good to work together in same dept.
2) I have to go before dec and my wife have to go before 2011 june to activate our visa
3) I want to use my uk opportunity
4) If me and my wife work together in my current company we can earn more then what I m going
to Earn in uk we both are computer engg.
5) But for me enough from middle east now I want to move
6) Hopefully we will have chance for Canada also later, my documents is quite solid but it will take
minimum 1 year

Please tell me what you will do if you are in my position, I need some serious advice I m too confused here

Personally I feel you have to decide yourself.

You may continue to live in UK as long as you both get paid well and live a good life. Let the PR also process simulteneously as it is not required for you to leave your job in UK immediately. You still have option to work more in UK for 2 more years even after getting PR.

I have lived in UK, and living expenses are quite expensive although it depends on the location. Since you are over with ME, try it out if it offers better pay and living standards.

Hi Rehaan,

Its really your personal decision what you and your wife like, as you said you want to use UK opportunity and you also had enough from Middle East. From these two sentences i think it clears that you want to move UK. But the other thing is that if youre wife works in your company you both will have more income which is good and will help you both in the future if you move to Canada ( depending on what your current financial situation is) if you dont really have a financial issues then move to UK and enjoy your life there until you get your Canada Visa.

If i were you i would have stick to middle east get my wife a job improve my financial position so that next year when i move to canada i have good money to study and get settled there.

and if tomorrow you don't have job. you have to back your
country and Canada PR process is also like lottery.

I really do understand Middle East sponsorship system i myself spend 20 yrs of my life in Qatar.
If you really dont wanna go back to your country then i would suggest you to take this UK opportunity and leave rest in ALLAH's hand atleast you wont regret that you had a UK opportunity ( if things goes worse and i hope they dont )

The simple answer to this is that Keep your Personal life separate from your Professional Life in this way there will be no effect on your work. About employer it really depends how proffesional they are and you can judge this when your wife will start working there if they started treating you differently just because you hired your wife then there is a chance that they dont keep her if you resign. If you have a good relationship with your boss then i dont think it will have any impact on your wife and your plan is good.
