Anyone who submitted the Passport to vfs and reached to IRCC delhi on 20th march ( or near by dates) received any further update?

Hey, wondering if someone can help us out! We have just received request to submit passport finally !
I am confused about validity of the PR that will be stamped on the passport -
Is it until 1 year from Medical (Nov 15 2025 medical date) Or 1 year from date of submission ?
Is it possible to get the passport stamped for validity until dec 2026 as we have a ceremonial wedding in nov?
Submission Date - 15 Sept 2025
Medical - Nov 15 2025
Request to Submit Passport - April 1st 2026
PA - India ;

The PR visa validity is calculated from the date of your medical exam, not the submission date. This is also explicitly stated in the Information Letter you received.
Medical date: November 15, 2025
PR visa will be valid until: approximately November 15, 2026

You cannot redo the Medical to Extend the Deadline
You also cannot request a December 2026 Expiry

Solution is Soft Landing-
Fly to Canada before November 23, 2026
Get your PR activated at the port of entry
Fly back to India for your ceremony and time with your spouse
Move to Canada together whenever you're both ready after that.

You can request to do new medicals before the visa is issued to extend visa validity BUT personally I would go with your soft landing solution because I wouldn't want to be giving IRCC room to delay anything and doing new medicals can cause some delays.

Reached IRCC New Delhi on March 27. No further updates since.

Hi, I am in the same situation. September 26 applicant, BG in progress. Last update on the tracker was on November 28.
I saw someone from 19 Sept get ppr yesterday in the WhatsApp group. Things are moving but they are slow. We can only wait patiently. Hang in there you are not the only one. Most people from September end are still waiting.

I hear there are 1-2 ghost updates before the passport makes its way back to us.
