Update! Received 2nd Pre-Arrival Letter today (which is basically just an email reminder that we qualify for these services).
I just found out this is what it looks like and not anything different or newer but can someone legit confirm that this update infact is considered the 2nd PAL? Thanks! Signature updated.

I also received a similar email today reminding us to use Pre-arrival services. I think its a standard automated email. Not sure if this is called PAL 2.

Yes that was PAL 2, majority of Sept and Oct applicants received that today!

See that's the thing! Everyone's timelines are so inconsistent because every case is unique so its hard to tell what's actually up. Like I haven't even received any ghost updates recently but I still somehow got the PAL2. (Last update on tracker for me is still Dec 12, which was when we got the medical and eligibility completed + PAL1). Eagerly waiting for BGC and then it shouldn't be too long. I want to think that they're assessing late August to mid October outland applications but ofcourse this is just wishful thinking...

Outland, applied september 27, currently waiting on background check and eligibility. Medicals passed December 17, still waiting!! I’m Canadian and my husband is Georgian, have been lost distance for 2 years now, and I hope we get our PPR soon!!

We got married in Georgia last November, such a beautiful country! Also been in a LDR for 2+ years, I feel like I'm living in the airports: 30+ flights a year to be able to spend at least some time together while I'm working full time in the office in Canada.

Stay strong, we all will get through it soon and reunite with our loved ones

That’s amazing, what a small world! I’m from Vancouver so unfortunately it’s been a trek to travel back and forth. Wishing you the best of luck!

Hello,
Applied for TRV (visitor visa) from within Canada on January 7th of this year so I can travel in March. The IRCC estimate is 21 days but it's been 26/27 days now... does anyone have a similar timeline? OWP got approved January 2nd.

It really has slowed down, eh? It seems very quiet in terms of updates for July/Aug/Sep applicants, especially Aug and Sep. There seem to be many people just waiting for BGC since almost a couple of months. We are still well within IRCC's processing standards of 12-14 months sure... but the way things were moving, this slowdown does feel a bit frustrating. Hopefully a new batch of updates flow in soon... it's always good to see some movement even if it's for other people's applications, that's what we're here for.

I’ve been checking on Immitracker for Outland spouse visas, looks like most people who applied in July have gotten their PPR or have already landed.
