Wow that's cool.Sept 1 FD. Some odd balls lol
No ghost updates or anything. Last update on trackers: Dec 12, 2025 - its been 7 weeks since (this includes the expected holiday slowdown though).Same here, last update Dec 4.
I'm in dilemma whether to apply for TRV yet or not as our plan is to travel back together on April 20.Wow that's cool.

Awaiting BGC - I hear it takes anywhere between 2-8 weeks, so maybe an update is on its way soon.
Maybe go ahead and apply if its absolutely imperative you take that flight in April? We're almost at the end of January. February is a short month. April 20 will creep up soon... and if you are certain, you need to account for the time it takes for the passport journey too (approx. 1-1.5 months).I'm in dilemma whether to apply for TRV yet or not as our plan is to travel back together on April 20.
As everything is completed except BCG, I am still hopeful and thinking of applying after a couple of week. Recently, local VFS is returning passport within 2-3 weeks on average!Maybe go ahead and apply if its absolutely imperative you take that flight in April? We're almost at the end of January. Me, personally also in a similar dilemma though I do not have a certain date or deadline for my PA to travel just yet. Late March would be optimum.
Here's my situation and thought process that I previously shared incase anyone missed it:
My PA is also hoping to come (move) to Canada in late March subject to spousal PR approval ofcourse... However, we have not made any concrete bookings or plans just yet. We have decided to put the plan to apply for a TRV on hold for maybe another week or two because we do feel a spousal application update is just around the corner. September 2025 applicant, we are awaiting BGC and the subsequent FD/PPR - it can happen anytime now (or hopefully by mid-February based on similar trends). I have heard that the passport visa stamping does take between 4-6 weeks after submission, meaning we may be looking at atleast a month for the passport to come back, so need to account for that time as well, regardless its a spousal PPR or a TRV PPR.
Okay, that sounds like a good timeline. Let's hope for some speedy updates! As everything is completed except BCG, I am still hopeful and thinking of applying after a couple of week. Recently, local VFS is returning passport within 2-3 weeks on average!
My worry is as I am still seeing few June/July applicants waiting for PA eligibility completionOkay, that sounds like a good timeline. Let's hope for some speedy updates!
Both Sponsor and PA have their own eligibility checks done separately. If you received Sponsorship Approval letter, means the sponsor's eligibility is completed. Sponsor's own tracker should be marked Completed by now or sometimes it takes a few days since the original approval letter, to be marked completed. PA's eligibility will pass through "in progress" and "Completed" stages once his/her eligibility is being evaluated.Hi, can anyone confirm that the eligibility criteria mentioned in the tracker is for the sponsor or personal applicant or both? We have received the sponsor eligibility letter; however, the eligibility column shows not started on the tracker. BGC in progress..
PA and Sponsor have separate trackers. You can login to the tracker using Sponsor's UCI and same case number - and you will see "eligibility passed" for the sponsor.Hi, can anyone confirm that the eligibility criteria mentioned in the tracker is for the sponsor or personal applicant or both?
