Finally I got my eCOPR
My CIC was sidney NS, CPC was Montreal. PR portal received from OSC Virtual Landing Unit.
I linked my PR card application to GC Key and it seems the application PR application was submitted when the eCOPR was generated

Hi all,
My time here is done. A LOT quicker than I thought which is amazing given we travelled to Canada as visitors whilst the PR was processing so just been hanging out here waiting/getting things set up (apartment etc).
Hopefully this insight provides some use to others going the same path.

Some key learnings along the way:
- if you arrive as a visitor (I have a UK passport) or with a work permit after EE outland submission, it is very easy to contact IRCC and update them with your new Canadian address and allow you to enter the eCOPR virtual landing process when PR eventually arrives. This is what I did
- I was able to leave Canada and re-enter as a visitor whilst my EE was processing and then again post PR approval but before eCOPR generation. I did this via air from Vancouver to Dallas with no issues. I am currently outside Canada having received eCOPR but planned for this and will be re-entering via land border from the USA with signed eCOPR and passport
- My original EE application received an update as soon as eCOPR was approved and all 3 eCOPR numbers (myself and 2 dependents) were listed below
- My original EE application was also updated immediately post eCOPR to show that my Background check was complete 9th Nov (see GU received and change of background status in timeline) and also eligibility review was listed as complete same day as eCOPR released
- I was able to register my daughter in school with just the letter we received when PR was confirmed Dec 16th 2022
Hope this helps someone at some point in the future. This forum has been a god-send during the last 8 months or so.

There is no easy way. You need to call IRCC via the helpline. Sometimes it takes 20-30 attempts. Alternatively you can reach out to your MP. They can get you the information faster.

IRCC Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100, from within Canada only, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm local time, except for statutory holidays.
