Hey buddy, did I read your signature correctly? You sent your application in Oct 2020 and you have your oath done already? There are many such as my wife who applied a year prior to you and are still waiting. Just wondering if you applied with a fast track request?
Yes, urgent request for a job. I understand about the long delays but good thing is that if you have a need for your app to be processed urgently, IRCC will help get it done. I guess my app was also very straightforward for them to process quickly: no travel, Canadian cert, working, and had relevant docs from hr to prove my case. Some apps aren’t simple and those fall into the nonroutine route which increases their processing times; so no 2 apps normally progresses at same rate but in the end, she’ll be a Canadian, just as everyone else waiting. Goodluck to her

Guys, is the RCMP finger print request mandatory ? I don’t remember my wife was ever asked for one, she’s sept 2019 applicant and now it’s DM since March (Feb26 test passed ) , should I be worried about getting FP just in case ??

Most likely no. There have been cases of a DM falling back to IP. So theoretically this is a possibility, but a very highly unlikely one

It’s interesting , when she submitted application there’s no requirement for finger print , and throughout the process there’s no finger print request which got me worried. Then the test invite came followed by DM without interview ( test passed 20/20) , I saw most people got request for at least one finger print , so I guess neither finger print nor interview is mandatory ? Can we do the FP without CIC’s request or it has to be requested by them ?

1. Fingerprint/Interview is not mandatory. Also most dont get fingerprint. Only some interview in the recent past but that even less earlier few weeks/months ago.
2. I doubt you can do without them requesting for it.

Folks,

My status changed to “Decision Made” since Feb 12 and no update or invitation to oath since then. My processing office is Mississauga. Anyone in the same boat?

My wife is in the same boat in Mississauga. DM early March , haven’t got oath invite so far. You are almost one month earlier than her, please post here when you get it so I will know she’s near oath too :)

Mississauga will resume oaths very soon (according to Facebook Group). Given your timeline I think you will get it very soon :)
Mississauga has been given lots of DM lately , but weirdly not too many oath invite. I assume they’ll have exploding amount of oath invite in the coming months ? Realistically they aren’t suppose to issue lots of DM but so few oath , that will just congest their oath system . Hope they really pick up some speed before Canada day.

Actually I was just about to share some news. Saw 1 family from Mississauga received oath invitations today in the FB group, unsure timeline though. But this is the first one I saw in the past couple of months. Good days are coming :D

Edit: the OP took his test in February 2021, forgot the DM date.

I received a surprise call from from the London, Ontario office today. I did my interview and received DM all in one shot, which was pretty great!

Could my Interview and Decision Made dates be added to the spreadsheet? Thank you.
