Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I have a Canadian Masters' degree, however, the degree doesn't quite specify the language of instruction is English but the degree itself is written in English. So, based on the responses, it looks like I should be good

Since you have a Canadian degree, you can just submit the copy of your diploma. You don't need to prove language of instruction for Canadian education.

Hello guys,
I am new in this forum and need advice, I will be applying for my citizenship next month. I have following queries, and would appreciate some advice.
1. I have already given IELTS exam before I moved in Canada. (I migrated in Dec-2015), do I need to provide the original copy of the IELTS result or the photocopy of the result would suffice. If the photocopy will work then should it be certified copy and can I get it certified from Notary public.
2. In regards to Income tax filing, first year though I filed my taxes but it was of "Zero dollars" as I was newly migrated and then I filed for 2016 & 2017, would that be sufficient.
3. Do I need to submit my educational documents, if yes ,do I need to get this certified as well, if yes, from where I can get it certified.

I am hoping that someone from the group can provide some guidance. Thanks

1- you can use the copy(photo copy printed) of the ielts used in PR application. Not need to get it certified.
2- Required to File - Yes for 3 years and Tax files Yes .. No to all other years
3- Not required for citizenship.
