I don't know what happen to Ottawa applicants. How we could explain that about the delay AOR to IP. I think that It takes longer for them from AOR to IP comparably to other cities.

I am a Victoria BC applicant and it has now been over 1 month since AOR. No idea why!!

Can I give my 2 cents on this.

Apparently Ottawa Canada post facility had a huge delay in redirecting packages. This happened during and after the Canada post strike.


Two of my packages which were arriving through Ottawa were stuck in the Ottawa Canada post facility for a weeks but packages that came through other Canada post facility had no delays.

From what I know is, when your application reaches your local processing office and aceepted, this is when the status goes into IN PROCESS.

I may be wrong but it’s higly possible.

Sorry I talked about the second stage of the process which is after AOR. Most of applicants take 1 day to 1 week to go in process (IP), those of Ottawa take about months for the same stage which is a huge delay comparably to other cities. .. AOR to IP.
