No change when I click on it though. Nothing about medical yet.

Hello everyone,

It excites me to finally be able to share on this forum with progress. A few years ago, I was browsing the forums, not knowing where to begin. Husband and I got married in 2012. We've been together since 2003 but I've been in Canada since 2008. After a lot of flying back and forth and finally deciding that we will start our life together here, we have submitted our application!

I am still trying to familiarize myself with the many acronyms here so please let me know if I have misunderstood something.

Visa office: Manila
Mailed out our package 09/13/2016
Medical was done 08/09/2016 -- I brought those papers back with me after a month long trip in the Philippines
Application was received by R Mahmood 09/15/2016
AOR - We got our first email 10/14/2016 saying that the application has been received.
I have not been able to link myCIC to our application but when visiting the site, we saw the following details:
10/14/2016 - My papers are in process and Spouse is received.
10/27/2016 - My column said Decision Made and Spouse was still received. No emails yet at this point.
10/28/2016 - Checked the next day and it now said Spouse was in process! And his medical was received!

No emails still at this point but I would like to clarify was the AOR2 means.

I tried to enter my data into the spreadsheet and I hope I didn't ruin it but my data was removed so I am just sharing it here.

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum. Please help me out. I sent my application to sponsor my wife on 23 september, 2016 and was received on 26 september, 2016 by CPC, Mississauga. After that, I received no email for AOR1 or SA either. Somehow, my ECAS is working with the help of my client id.
It has 2 sections: Sponsorship application received on 26 september 2016. And in process from 20 october 2016. Under permanent residence application, it says application received on 26 september 2016.. No single update after that.

I linked my application to cic too and it says Application status open. Medical results and eligibility review n progress. No update at all.

I am worried cuz people with same timeline already got their Sponsor approvals but mine is still in process. Seems like my ecas is stuck. What should i do now? Im really getting worried now cuz ppl aapplied after me also started to get their Sponsorship approvals.

I haven't received any emails either. I called CIC last week to see if they had my email address with my application as I know I included it in the sponsor application. She told me it wasn't on file, so I am assuming it got missed when it was added into the system. She was kind enough to inform me that I was approved and it was all sent to Ottawa already. My letter to inform me of this was mailed on October 25th so should be getting it tomorrow. I would call if I were you to see if they forgot to add your email as my ecas and CIC are "stuck" too. Yeah, they are definitely incorrect about not being able to link because you are outland. The only way you cannot link MyCIC is if you have a representative, other than that, you should be able to.
I have had sponsor approval since Oct 15th and mine still says "in process" as well. If I click on it, it says they sent a correspondence with the decision on ___ date. It also says "in process" under the PA section(another way to tell, your app is moving along). ECAS does take a while to update, at least as far as I've noticed!

Good morning everyone!

Been checking ECAS and MYCIC everyday since our SA last Tuesday and no change since then. Decision Made on sponsor side and still just Application Received on PA side. Hopefully this week it changes to In Process. Unfortunately my VO (Mexico City) is pretty slow with AOR2 and things like that, so we'll see!

No e-mail yet, but MyCIC changed this afternoon sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Instead of saying "Not Started" for Review of eligibility, it has changed to saying, "Review in Progress" and A background check is needed changed from "Not Started" to "Not needed at this time."

Still unable to access ECAS at all, but I consider this a step in the right direction.

Got confirmation over the phone this morning that we have sponsor approval. The call centre agent checked to make sure my husband's e-mail address and mailing address were correct. Just waiting for the actual e-mail at this point.

If I've appointed my husband who is sponsoring me as my representative I won't be able to link my application to the MyCIC link? I just recently applied in October so I'm a newbie

Hi everyone !

I am a september applicant too. I sent my file to missisauga september 19. I receive AOR1 october 14 and the SA october 24!
My husband is in Jamaica and our visa office is kingston.... I live in Quebec so we are now waiting for the Quebec SA.

Can someone tell me how to link MyCIC? i only know about the Ecas....
