barely awake - I checked my email. I do so every morning because I emailed CIC and was impatiently awaiting their reply. Well, I got the email today. 6:30 a.m. the long-awaited email requesting Passport and 2 photos. I hope this is a day or two process to get the passport stamped so I can make the travel arrangements.

I received my COPR in the mail today!!!

I have few questions that I hope to help me with
my wife's medical will expire in November as it's good only foe a year ,as I know of
do you think they will ask for a new medical as I noticed your application from September last year and I don't know if you had any issue with that or your application done before the medical become expired ???

how long between application transfer to in process because mine still application recv'd

what is the email for the Canadian embassy in cairo as I have been sending them emails and no ansers AT ALL

--we were very surprised they did not ask for a re-medical. as ours expired in January 2015. They can request an extension in your medicals, if that is the only thing preventing a decision

..the application was transferred in Sep 2014 and went to IN PROCESS in July 2015 (10 - 11 months)

firs time I emailed them, it took about one month to receive a reply.

Oh wow! Must've been an expensive flight so last minute!

I'm flying down to the states. I have belongings to go get so I can't flagpole. Which is ok, bc I get to meet my niece while I'm there!!

Hey guys, my application status turned to "decision made" today, it was still "in process" yesterday!

What should I expect next? are they going to call me or send me an email concerning the decision??

My husband and I are so excited!
