our application went to "in processs" a week ago, prior to that it sat in medical received for almost 2 months - no rhyme or reason to the process, I guess. but still hopeful for early September!

Mine has been in process since the beginning of March and from my notes I got as at 13 May states eligibility passed and they are convinced that our marriage is genuine. But they have not yet started background and security check yet.

Medicals expire on 2 August 2015.

I don't know what to expect from this process like you all.

what is the process for ordering the notes? our lawyer did it previously, but I am wondering if it is worth expending any more money on their services.

The principal applicant will need to sign the consent form in order for the sponsor to apply for the notes on his/her behalf:

Fill out the consent form with the applicant's info, print it and have him/her sign it and then scan it and upload it. Pay the fee and your done. If you have anymore questions just ask.

P.S Always choose electronic files.

Thanks Mulez!! From what I can tell from the notes I got at the beginning of the month, I think we are in process, "technically", but I don't think they changed it on ecas. I haven't seen much on what exactly makes your file "in process" but I think mine started in March. That is when they first looked at my file since SA and transfer to Ottawa in November. That was March 18th and then more than a month later on April 27th it was reviewed by an officer who confirmed everything was passed and relationship was genuine and then they noticed my CSQ wasn't there. I then got the request for it in my email on May 5th.

Just shows how long it takes just to get simple steps done. All the time in between is waiting in a queue. They logged my CSQ in their system on May 22nd and that was basically the last update. So, idk what the wait has been for 2 months now...

I received an email from CIC that I have to submit 2 photos + a copy of my passport.
I must send it to Vienna.
Almost done, couldn't be happier!!
