Wow, congrats! Mississauga is so fast -- Why is it some applications are kept in Mississauga and others sent off?

Hello,

I am trying to place my name in the spread sheet but I do not know if it saved? How do you add the information?

Good evening

Please can you update the spreadsheet to decision made 26 Nov 14!

Thanks

You are not on the spreadsheet, but you are on the London Outland spreadsheet. I am an editor of that spreadsheet, got your update, thanks!

The London spreadsheet is really nice!

WE GOT SA!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you! They sent e-mail saying it is approved and file is sent to VO Rome.

The night before the SA, my partner ( applicant) was able to log into ecas and see that app was received on September 30th. I couldn't log in until after midnight.
I called them few times before the SA and they couldn't find our application under my name ( sponsor). They gave me temporary file # which now turns out to be my UCI #.
They had to speak to my partner before they gave me app. # that started with XF and later explained that X will be removed once they start working on it.
We live together ( he is on visitor visa) so he was able to talk to them. I thought that for the first part they only wanted to speak to the sponsor .
All so weird and confusing. Each agent has a different story.

@ Michimin did you send you documents? I am sorry your app is delayed, but hopefully it will start moving soon.

The CIC's immigration application process really tests ones patience. Seriously, it drains out your mental energy just trying to figure out the ins and out of the whole process.

It starts with doing lots of research, trying to decipher the language and understanding the whole application process.
Kind of unsure about certain aspects, consult an immigration lawyer. Waste of time and money :/
Getting upfront medical done.
Getting all the required documents. The FBI clearance took months because my requests were lost not once, twice! Third time was the charm.
Filled out all the forms
Checking the application package over and over again, at the last minute, the wife points out I need to add yet another police certificate, this time from Pakistan since I lived there for a year after I was 18 years old.
Wait for that certificate which took yet couple of more months.
Print photos.
Go through the application multiple times.
We finally mailed our application on Sept 2nd.
Received AOR on Sept 26th via email.
Application package sent back for us to send new form on Nov 6th.
Sent updated application package Nov 10th.
Now the wait continues.
Have been checking the ECAS status daily and it has yet to be updated. :(

The fact it is taking forever for CIC to even process Stage 1 is frustrating as majority of people on the spreadsheet are past it by now. Hopefully it gets done sooner than later. Argh!

Whew! Had to get that off my chest!

BTW this forum is awesome! Its the only place where I can find any useful information at all relating to CIC. The fact that everyone here is so helpful and supportive is amazing. :)
