Spoke with an Agent today She said everything for me is complete. Just waiting for final decision. They will process Case By Case so I will get final decision any time (Could be months from now or could be tomorrow). I m Sep 5. Every thing upfront.

Anyone in Sep 1 to 8 is still waiting?

Don't worry you will get PPR this week i guess because when i called them on Friday CIC agent said everything is complete and on Monday i receive PPR.

I am on the same boat as you. I am Sept 4 applicant everything done upfront. I just got income proof request from cic. Hopefully we will get ppr soon.

we just have to patient, our time will come.

App received: Sep 8 2014
AOR : Jan 3 2015
Medical upfront: Sep 2015
Upfront RPRF fee: Mar 13 2016
Ready for visa: Mar 16 2016

I am a sept 19 applicant. Today I received my "passport request" email.
Here is my situation, I need to visit back home (India) for family emergency reason. I am leaving from Canada on 1 April 2016.
Can someone have any idea that how long will CIC take to return my passport back.
Is it a better idea to go to India and then submit my passport to Canadian consulate in India.
Any advice will be really helpful.

if you send your passport by today or tomorrow it will reach Ottawa on Friday so a week or 2 week from Friday they are chances of getting it back before 1st april but we cannot say for sure...

Between sending out the Xpresspost mail to getting the passport back in your mailbox ---- it takes 14 - 21 days. In most cases (recent ones), it's taking 15 days.
So if you sent it out today, you will most likely find the stamped passport in your mailbox on April 31, but no guarantees! ---------- So.. worth the risk?

I need some input on the situation.
I did my medical before the medical request came in, so they did on the basis of UMI. Later the MR came in with an IME number
Now I need to connect both of them, how do I go about.
Should I email them if so what is the email id and what should be the content or should I call them
Please advise

Don't worry about connecting them. Simply Scan and email the e-medical info sheet - you received from the clinic - to CPC (CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic . gc . ca ) along with your UCI and Application #.
