Right of Permanent Residence Fee

We wish to remind you at this time that your Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is outstanding. You must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. The RPRF must be paid once for yourself as a principal applicant and once for your spouse or common law partner, if you have one.

If you delay the payment of the RPRF, your security or medical results may expire, which would delay the issuance of your visas. We therefore encourage you to pay the RPRF as soon as possible, by following these steps:

ÿ Go to our Online Payment webpage

ÿ Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed

ÿ Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”

ÿ Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490

ÿ Click “Submit”

ÿ Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with Visa, American Express or Mastercard.

Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format. Once the process is complete, please attach your receipt to an email, with your application number in the title, and send it to the address CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca

The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa.

Your response to the above requests is required within 30 days.

Thank you for your immediate attention to these matters.

Just to mention buddy...

I haven't completed my medical yet that is scheduled to be on 04th & 07th march 2016 (because of date clash with my work assignments) even though I got RPRF request today.

Earlier my assumption was RPRF would be after MR but it's not like that...I got Medical request on 24th Feb.
same thing happened to me as well i have to do medicals and got rprf today afternoon

Hello Friends,

Got a request to submit Police clearance certificate from U.A.E. I'm originally from India but had worked in a ship for one year around U.A.E area, so I gave the address of my company's office in the application. But I was never a resident of U.A.E no address no nothing, I used to work in the ship.

So basically I don't have any residence record in U.A.E, I'm wondering how can I tell or convince Immigration ppl that I won't be able to present Police clearance certificate from there as I was never a resident of U.A.E.

Any help will be appreciated.
My app received 25th Sep.

Thanks

I have one query related to the passport stamping....

My passport got renewed after applying for the PR... I sent an email to CIC with the details of my new passport...but i am not sure they updated in the system or not....

For the passport stamping....do i need to send my both the passport(old and new, stapled together) or only new passport ?

Thanks.

Hi,

I have a question regarding PPR.
Yesterday only i got RPRF request and paid as well. Now waiting for PPR.
Actually, I am currently working in Canada and my family is back in India.
So when I receive PPR, should I submit my passport to Canada office and my family's passports to India office?
Or should ask my wife to courier her passport to me and then submit all our passports to Canada office only?

Thanks & Regards,
