Hey guys am October applicant, one of last which application was charged! On 12.January!

My question is what will happen with my app if cap is reached?

Finally there are some people care about caps. If cap is reached, application is returned

no dude it doesn't work like that,

if you get rejection ( which is not gonna happen ) you will still have 90 days status restoration period, you can restore your status in that period just paying almost double fees. yeah but you cannot work in this restoration period thats it.

they will not ask you to move out Canada immediate.

Buddy Im trying to educate myself.. did you say tat we can apply for permit extn even after we enter the 90 day period after expiry just by paying double fee ? Im not sure abt CIC rules so just checking. Thanks

That is not possible at all since you are crossed from Implied status to Illegal status

But there is nothing we can do, but just pray. I thought cap might be reached for late November or December applicants, never expected that it would be in October.

Now I extremely regret why I didn't submit my application on early Sep.

Definetely everybody would be worried or scared.. atleast for me.. As im getting closer to my work permit expiry everything scares me..

When u cross 90 days .. ur best bet is to hire a lawyer

I didnt mean tat im crossing the 90 day mark.. just to be clear

once work permit expires = we enter implied status rite?
that is for 90 days if im not wrong.. after 90 days of implied status u will be in illegal status correct ?

during implied status we can apply for work permit extn with double fee ?

Implied status is 90 days. If you got file number for WP within 90 days then you are good otherwise your application will be rejected due to Illegal status

No, you can work under implied status only if you have a WP application in Que.

You are legal to work if you get the File number for WP/BOWP before the old WP expires otherwise NO.

Got my AOR this afternoon! CIC sydney office received around 15th Sep and charged 26th Nov. ;D

Hey guys applications filed on or after Oct 20 are all returned.. I hope we are still safe..
Feel sad for people who got rejected

Did any of these applicant's CC/DD charged AND still their application returned back saying cap is reached ? Does CIC return applications, without the DD which is sent along with the application ?
