Hello, I'm also a September 2014 applicant in a similar situation to most of you.

I just received my notes a couple of days ago:

Security : Blank
Medical : Passed
Elligibility : Passed
Criminality : Passed

File location apparently moved from RFV Check to PACE

Does anybody knows what PACE means?

Due date was supposed to be July 10, but the status of my application has not changed since March (Medicals received).

Security blank means in-progress
Don't know what does PACE mean.

FILE LOCATION : GENERALLY HAS THE VALUE OF VISA OFFICE

DOES THIS MEANS PACE IS A VISA OFFICE ? IF YES, ARE OUR FILES READY FOR VISAS? WHY THEY ARE NOT ISSUING THEM?

we are same. I got my note couple days ago.

my file location: PACE and last note from VO : Appear RFV
What does your last note from VO say?

The last note from VO is the same as yours: "File Appears RFV"

Friends,

With Gods blessings and well wishers force like you all .. Landed at Rainbow bridge yesterday.

Was nice and pleasant day as we drove from Toronto to Niagara (with traffic delays) taking us 2 hours approximately to reach at a whole day 20$ parking near planet Hollywood / Fallsview water park and casino. Less than 5 minutes walk to Rainbow bridge.

As per Warning at the door to leave Canada ... even though had all document, checked again ;D

With beautiful view from Rainbow bridge, snapping at and around International line .... reached US Immigration. In 10 minutes we were called in & with neutral (unbiased) looks from US officer we got the Flagpole paper refusing the entry to US. No writings or remarks on passports. Officer told to go back the same door you came in and we did.

Was a queue back at Canada pre-screening with only one office doing it. By the time it was hot outside and we would have preferred to have shade. But enjoyed munching some home made delicious parathas, salads ;)
Around 20-25 minutes waiting let us see first Canada Imm'n officer (... henceforth CIO) asking us reason to cross in. She handed us yellow slip with our passport and asked us to go to the Immigration office (... henceforth IO) across the roads entering bridge.

As we entered the IO we felt relaxed (from the heat outside). Handed over slip and passports only to one of CIO on counters (they won't ask sometime, so do it pro-actively is my suggestion). waited for around 60 minutes ... and then another senior CIO called and asked for COPR, address proof and the flagpole document and asked us to wait as she finalizes the tings ... in another 10 minutes, we were called and asked to sign on COPR's (both copies, one we are asked to keep) and that's it... CIO told you are Permanent Residents of Canada now ;D you will get PR card in 6-8 weeks and till then the COPR copy proves you PR. CIO also told for entry other than by walk or road, you will need VISA until you get the PR card ... wow, 21 months wait for this moment !!!!

That's it... had time on Hornblower Cruise, kids had fun at the Clifton Hill street. Pizzas for dinner and then Canada celebrated our entry with Fireworks [flash=200,200][/flash] :P

Back to Toronto by 1:00 AM.

Wish you all good luck and thanks from deep of my heart to this forum and all my consultants (free) here :D

Cheers !!!

Congrats mate. I applied on Sep 24 too and waiting for BG checks at the moment.

called CIC.
The agent confirms that everything is ready but the final decision is yet to be taken. If I don't hear anything until end of this YEAR, I can call them back ... I want to just cry :'(

Don't believe them. They never provided correct info for past 2 years. Just wait and pray.
