MP ? how to find one and how to approach him / her ?

MP = Member parliament

First step is to find out who is the representative from your area. You can do that by visiting this link: http://www.lop.parl.gc.ca/ParlInfo/compilations/houseofcommons/memberbypostalcode.aspx?Menu=HOC

Second, go to their office and explain your situation. They will follow up on your behalf with CIC and try to get the real picture. Make sure to bring your UCI number, application number and any other relevant information that will aid them in opening a dialogue with the CIC officer and getting answers.

I have never taken this route but have read great feedback. Search the form for more answers around how to contact your local MP.

I received my GCMS and it states that medical re-assessment were sent and medical shows in progress. However, I have not received any email for this.

I called up the call center two times to get this clarified and they confirmed that the file is complete and just waiting for final officer review. I insisted on the medicals point and they confirmed that no action is required from my side and I just have to wait and decision could come anytime now.

I am in a fix now.... do I take up the upfront medicals for re-assessment ? or just wait ? please advise....

The ECAS also does not show any update for this...

Is it in the Notes section of GCMS? check the notes with the latest dates.
Even my gcms had such a note..related to my job description, but that note was somewhere in between in the Notes section. The most recent note the officer had commented Job exp and description appears legit. Eligibible for CEC etc.

Life isn't much different. You get a jolt of excitement for a day or two and then go back to the work-sleep cycle..lollll

Yes, it got deleted a few months back. I think the original owner was zareef so you can ping him to check.
