A brief about my application:
*It was received at CIO on 9th September 2014,
*On 29th September, 20 days later, I realized I didn't report TRV refusal in 2013 and immediately sent another form with a covering letter via e-mail to : https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
*sent the physical copy the following day to CIO
*The e-mail was acknowledged on 17th November and it came with my UCI
*December 11th ECAS came alive
*December 24th PER.......

Hi All,

I have come across weird issue. I applied for FSW 2014 under 1123, and I checked my file status using old UCI no. and found that the file is in process. However, my immigration agent have not received any email yet.

I have a friend who applied under same category one month after me and he received PER email last night. I again contacted my immigration agent and still he said that he have not received any email from CIC.

Can someone please shed light on this issue? Is it possible to call CIC outside canada? If yes, could you please pass on the contact no. so I can try to figure out the issue.

I just called cic call center..a lady picked up.. I asked her in a polite manner that I wanted to know my uci number. ..I told her I am an oct 6th 3012 applicant ...she said she couldn't provide uci number coz I need to wait until 14 to 16weeks...she also said previously they would provide uci within 10weeks but now there are lot of backlogs....she told
me to call again after 14 weeks..lastly I wished her merry Christmas. .she appreciated. . ;D but I m still tensed and worried...I dont know whether I m included in the cap...plz include all applicants waiting for their status in ur prayers

Call at (00 1 613-944-4000) and then press following numbers when prompted (1,1,1,1,1,3,1) and at this stage a recorded voice will ask you three times to enter your UCI. Don't enter anything and then your call will be transferred to CIC Agent. After about 20 minutes you will hear voice of agent. Don't ask anything about status of your application just ask him/her in a polite manner to give you the UCI number. If you try to ask about your application they will not provide you any information. So just UCI. He/She will ask you couple of questions and will give you UCI. If you are lucky enough you will get UCI in first call otherwise after 3 or 4 calls. I got mine in 3rd attempt. And also call through Skype after purchasing a credit of 10 dollars this will save your money.

Can we use the debit card is it safe. What about old dd. You pay new payment this time by debit card .

Yes you can, it's very safe.

What you need to do is, after sending your credential information to CIC, Call your bank and ask them not to block any Debit Card Transaction from Canada. Usually they don't block but it's better to be on safe side.

Make sure you have enough money in your account.

Every application is processed on case by case basis. There are August applicants you are being charged before as well and you might be issued PER before them or vise versa. So there is no reason to be worried. All you need right now is for you to receive PER and the time for this is dependent on your case only, not your friends PER issuance.

Pls calm down, your eligibility review is in progress as obvious on your ecas status.

I also called them for the fourth time before i was able to get my UCI, other agents would immediately turn you down upon knowing that you areunder fsw..just keep trying.
