Mine is CC. have u applied directly or thru an representative? I have hired a representative and he has given his email Id for any updates from CIC. He says so far he has not received any news abt my app... and I have no option but to trust him on this..

My application has reached CIC on Sep 4th for the NOC 2171.
Haven't heard from them yet !!!

M confused too.. total no of applications on the Canadavisa site shows tht its full but a month ago there were only 553 applications and in a weeks time it was capped out (1000 received)... doesnt seems right..
lets pray n wait till we hear directly from CIC...

I applied directly coz i found these reps. quite expensive. anyhow its good to hire these reps. coz they handle documents well.

I think 2171 is the slowest NOC in terms of progress and its quite strange that there is no response even after more than 3 months

I thought 2nd Sep application is the last one to be under the cap...

Also a 17th Sep applicant got a reply from CIO that his application has been returned on 26th Nov because cap has already been reached...

Which one of these two events are true?? Or is this possible that both are true?Huh

Hi bro, I contacted with Laksya007 and he made a typo in SS and his actual NOC is 2172

I also don't know why it is not showing there... Although 7% have been charged as per SS... Seniors or Admin should check this..

I need your support on one issue. I have mentioned below my details for processing along with dates.

Application Received by CIC 22/05/2014
Payment deducted by CIC on 08/09/2014
PER Received by CIC on 11/09/2014
Application Started Processing on 26/09/2014
Received Medical Exam Instructions sent by VO on 30/09/2014
Request for RFPR Fees by VO on 30/09/2014


After getting medical exam instructions from VO I inform about the pregnancy of my wife. They replied that we can send the medical exams along with baby documents. Visa officer asked me to re-fill the New Application for Permanent Residence IMM0008 form for the principal applicant. Now my question is do I need to fill IMM008 Generic Application form only or I have to also fill IMM008 Schedule 3 and IMM008 Dependent form.

Please help me on this issue.
