Can anyone success on charging Credit card can comment on below please??? -
I use credit card method for payment and I informed to bank that I will be in Canada till December and asked them to allow payment from Canada. Is that step adequate or do I need to inform bank that there will be payment in Canadian dollars and request them to authorized the transaction? please comment

Latest DD encashed is Aug 13..
Latest CC charged is Sept 11...

Hi, I think it depends very much on the country you are in.

I didn't do anything special with my bank. I just made sure that my CC limit is high enough. And I got charged yesterday. But I travel a lot abroad and often use the same card with the foreign currencies.

However, reading the forum I saw that many people just inform their banks that they will be charged from Canada and it works for them.

Those waiting for cc charge, it takes a couple of days before it appears/actually debited to your cc. Cic transaction date nov.24 but it only showed today nov 27 and still floating/not yet deducted to my available balance, unlike with other cc debit is real time.

I hope my above note will calm a few waiting to be cc charge. SS updated

Im just wondering though, are the completeness check for early September applicants completed? Perhaps for the whole Sept applicants?

Hi Got charged yesterday 11pm MNL time NOC 0112 Family of 3. Do I have a great change of getting PER? Sept 9 applicant

Congrats Kabayan! We are 2171 applicant here Sept.13 and still waiting. Did you get assitance from an agency? Was it a form of CC or DD?

Finally I received an update from my bank that my DD was encashed on the 20th November
My details are:
NOC : 2171
App received date : 30-aug-14
DD encashed on 20-Nov-14

Now the wait for the PER begins....... Fingers crossed!!!!!!
