I guess I am the only one whose file went to Scarborough. Is it because i applied right at 1095 days? Are you not suppose to do that?

BTW I am a single filer for the person who is updating the charts.

Is it because of 1095 days or it depends on where do you live!Some people's application were sent to Missisauga or other place as Scarborough was heeavily overloaded. Some people are getting fast processing from Sacrborough also as reported in some other forum.

I also received my discover Canada book in the mail, not sure when; as i just reached on weekend after one and a half month holidays. The Received line on my e-case is also not there any more. I suppose my file is transferred to local office.
I had physical presence of 1083 days, and i am single applicant.

I just started following this thread after checked my ecas the last week. So here is my timeline

Application Sent: September 17, 2013
Application Received: September 20, 2013
In Process: January 09, 2014 (No AOR yet)
Application type: Family (Two adults one child). We are from Ontario

As I never heard about this before, I'll better share the experience with you.

I was surprised that even though my application is in process since Jan 9 I haven't received AOR yet. Today double checked our applications online one by one. What is happening is that for my child the timeline is quite different. Apparently it was processed differently and the status is in process only since January 17. What means that I might be receiving the AOR later this week or early the next one.

So, for those applying for the whole family and not receiving yet written confirmation this might be an explanation.

Mine processed on Nov 18. And I got AOR after Christmas.
You should wait for a month to get AOR

Someone got my "in process" date wrong. Not sure where he got that date.

Can you please specify the Local Offices as some are mentioned as Toronto, some are mentioned as Ontario..instead there should be mentioned the exact Local Office name such as Scarborough, Mississauga or st Clair etc.

Just got of the phone with CIC and the representative told me that my file was transferred to the Scarborough local office in January 2014. She said, from this point in the process, they advise people that it can take up to 9 months to receive an invitation to take the test.

Does anyone have any thoughts on whether Scarborough is fast or slow in processing applications?

I'm a Toronto applicant and my info is as follows:

Application sent: Sep 14th
App received: Sep 19th
In Process: Nov 22nd

As your nickname shows, you are poised to become citizen quite quickly, start preparing for the exam ASAP because you never know when they will contact you, people who applied in september are at the same stage that people who applied in july are at - this means that going forward, things are going REALLY fast, nobody will be able to answer your question accurately, but I suggest that you get ready !
