Hi,

I applied/sent my application on 21 September 2013, and today I have a "Received" status online, with the following information:

1. We received your payment, along with one or more citizenship applications. To find out how long it takes to process a routine application, please consult the Application Processing Times.

Does anyone know what this means, is the step of before being "In Process"?

Is this your first time accessing ECAS? Initially I had "received" & "in process" but understand once file transferred to local office just shows "in process".

I checked again today still can't access mine since yesterday lol

Hi,

Not really, but it is the first time I see a line added for my citizenship application with "Received" status.

What do you mean initially you had both and you cannot access it anymore?

Well congrats that's a good start for you! Have u rcvd AOR & study book yet?

With my file I had same "received" & "in process" got AOR & study book since November but now cant get in to see anything I will call CIC next week if still no access

No, I haven't received anything yet. I will keep everyone posted as I progress in the application process

Well, I don't know what your case means. Should there be any issues, I am sure that they will send you a mail for more documents or etc. Otherwise, it means nothing is wrong. CIC are quite professional in the way they work, except for timing.

any updates from your end? Do you know if your file has been transferred to local office and when?

Do I remember correctly, that you were scheduled for a test but had to call them back to postpone the test because you were gonna be out of country.....sorry if it is wrong ??? ???

Hi dear_pnp,

My file was transferred. Didn't ask when. The agent told me that I should be receiving the test date any day now as my file in being reviewed by the Montreal office.

I called the CIC to let them know that I will be out of the country for 3 weeks. Thank God I did that. As most candidates that applied in the same time frame got scheduled during that period to write the test. Montreal going fast lately. I believe because I was absent, I didn't get scheduled. Hopefully I should get something this month. No RQ from Sydney.

my received line disappeared last month but I called them today and my file is still in sydney.They told it is in Transit so hope for the best
