Mine has said the exact same thing the entire time, and lots of people's has never changed..even after they receive COPR. It seems the updating is kind of hit or miss, and whatever eCAS says doesn't really matter.

I've seen that August applicants are just starting to get PPRs, so we're still in good shape. September's next!

I feel kind of dumb, but what exactly is PPR?

Oh, and thanks for setting my mind at ease. I also checked the August thread and was reading that most (if not all) of the LA office applicants are getting their 'Decision Made' notices as well! I didn't really start worrying until I check the processing times and saw 16 months!

The Ottawa timeline is 13 months now, I believe...so I feel ya. Everybody here does.
BUT.. Most of the uncomplicated cases seem to move faster, as lots of people here can attest to.

And you're welcome. Tons of people have helped me here, whether they know it or not, so I'd love to try and help whenever.

I also understand about putting your life on hold. Living in limbo is frustrating.

Well, my case is uncomplicated. Just me and my husband.... and we tried to keep our application personal, but simple. We kept our photos under 20, added wedding cards, letters, passport stamps, boarding passes, etc etc. and lots of chatlogs. We didn't have any phone records or bank account information though. But I'm not worried about it.

The only issue was that my FBI check expired the day after I sent my application in, so by the time it arrived and mississauga it was expired. :/. I hope that this isn't going to be an issue.

To be honest, I'm not worried about getting DENIED, I'm worried about how long it will take.

Mine changed to decision made on Feb 18th( today). It changed to "In Process" on Feb 13th.

No copies of your passport request? That's odd. Which visa office are you going through? We have another applicant in August who has a similar case!
I think we were all thinking that CIC would send an email first requesting more pics or passport copies.

I am Sep 2012 applicant from New Delhi office. No passport copy was requested as i attached those in my initial document itself.

I hope this is the beginning of a trend away from PPRs where passports are valid for a period of time longer than the PR visa/COPR will be valid. It would make a lot of sense and really streamline the process.

That would be awesome..especially since I sent copies of mine, along with tons of other extra stuff just in case.

hi all,

i have applied for ma husband's sponsorship i have gotten ma UCID through email ..does dat mean they have sent me Acknoledgement letter through mail???...they received my letter on september 12, 2012 and medical has been received
since then no response from them ...i m worried
