Checked ecas. Its now decision made. also its updated with medicals received. i was a little worried earlier as the email on 2nd nov stated sponsorship approved & file transferred. This means ecas is not updated on "as and when" basis. It takes few more days longer to show the actual status.

just wondering when would i hear from NDVO regarding receipt of my application.....!!

Woke up to some great news today! Against some pretty long odds my beautiful wife was granted a tourist visa to visit Canada for a few months as we wait for the PR process to play out. I'm glade the Warsaw officers were in a good mood when our application hit their desk! It will make waiting for the PR approval more bearable

OMG :'( - I've just checked ecas and in "Sponsorship Application Status" it says "Decision made". When I click it it reads:

"We sent you a letter on October 30, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

And we didn't receive any email, not even AOR.
Plz be honest with me - they would have sent me an email if everything was ok and the app was sent to VO, right???

I need to prepare myself mentally for a bad news in this letter... :'(

Silly question guys!
I am planning to see my husband in a couple of weeks and I want to take my mixer with me. Do you think it'd be a problem? I'd be taking it in my checked luggage of course. Have you ever taken small appliances in your checked luggage? Silly I know :

Because they don't have a system :-\ some people get emails, some people get news by postal mail
