Congratulations to everyone who got approval the past few days! I would like to especially mention Kedeisha, who has update the list daily and who has been so patient for her aqpproval!

We're still waiting on sponsorship approvals for:

diadema (Sept 14)
bajainwaiting (Sept 17)
Pink Panther (Sept 23)
doghouse (Sept 27)
Amy612 (Sept 28)
Cxyrus (Sept 30)
mmg777 (Oct 3)
newlife23 (Oct 6)

And our two inland applicants, raabhim and TheProfessorsWife, who can expect sponsorship approval around March or April 2012.

The spreadsheet has not been updated completely yet.
Pink Panther and doghouse have already been approved. Also remaining ppl do give a call to CIC, I'm sure you will hear good news too!!!

WoooooHooooo... We also got APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just called CIC and the agent said that the sponsor is approved and an email was sent to the sponsor on Dec 2nd.

We havn't received it though. The agent said they will resend the email but it will take another 30 days.

We dont mind... Confirmation of approval over phone is more than enough for now...

why is there 2 guys on your spreadsheet that have dates of October when this was to be a September thread and September spreadsheet and it doesn't matter if they sent their app in September it goes from date it was received at CIC-M so they should be in October's sheet

Well they wanted to be added to the spreadsheet is it really a big deal which group they belong to? wow

Hoorayyyyy!!!!! I got sponsorship approval. My husband got it via mail today. Letter dated nov 30. I really don't understand why some got email and others got letter. We definitely put in our email addresses in the app. Oh well..... I'm just happy now ;D

Oh, and they spell my middle name wrong. Should I be worried? I'm thinking I should wait for ecas and see if my name is spelled right on it. Any suggestion?

Hooray I got a letter in the mail saying I was approved to sponsor my husband. The letter was mailed on November28,2011. Our file was transferred to Guatemala. I am so happy. Congratulations to anyone else who got approved.

If case it matters, for internal forum tracking, the "Date Application Mailed" entry in the excel sheet should read "August 30th 2011" for me.

Me and my husband are living currently in England, However I am Colombian and I am under a student visa.
I finished my course for 1 year and my visa expires the 23 of JANUARY 2012
My husband and I applied for the permanent residence from here and now we are waiting for the final decision. ecas says it is in process since November 29 when we received the sponsorship approval.
So.... based on the previous applicants I've noticed (and particularly in London) the process after the sponsorship approval is taking aprox 30-35 days for the passport request. that means that In January we may get an answer.

I have 2 options.
1- Extend my visa for a few months which will cost me lots. but. I would be inside the country where I applied. ...d k
Or..
2- wait till the answer in January (or if I need an interview by jan I would be called by then) and the 23rd Go to my country with my husband and wait for the passport over there after inform them that I have moved back.
Is that possible.? after all ,If by then they ask for a passport means they would have made a decision already even if I am not inside of England anymore they would still have to let me know the answer.

I am confused. And I don't have much time..

I can share my experience with you When I applied my PR, I was in Canada as an international student with study permit. I applieed in Buffalo and left Canada as my study was finished. I cam back home Bangladesh. I gave them my home (Bangladesh) address for all correspondenc. They sent all documents to bangladesh. The problem was when it was time to send the passport. But I was able to send passport to USA by DHL. Buffalo office only post passport within USA and Canada. So I had to use one of my friend's address, and then she post my passport by canada post.
Now about your cas, If would like to go back, I think there will not be any problem. If you can send passport to London by post and they send it back to you, it will be fine.

As you say London takes very less time for processing, so your condition may delay your case only.

Now, the decission is completly yours. If i were you, and I can aford the visa, I would stay in London.. Just to make the process simpler..

By the way if you are from Visa exempt country, you don't have to send passport any more..
