The same doubt I too have. I have given my credit card details. Doubtful whether there is any password required. Did they encash your payment?

After reading comments of other members I am getting a feeling that if the cap in any NOC is reached before AOR is issued by CIC then it means they do not meet the cap. But I DONT AGREE

I think when CIC says that applications recieved as of Nov 17 in NOC 0631 is 416 then it refers to all the applications received by CIC irrespective of AOR issued or not. So, those who have filed their applications in Sep or Oct are included in this number. Isnt it?

You have observed that 3131 have jumped to a lot of applications in one week but CC/BD charging of 3131 applicants have not jumped , 25th August applicant of 3131 have been charged but 1st September applicant of 3131 is still waiting. This means my dear CC/BD charging and receiving PER have no relation with CAP .
CC/BD charging and issuing PER is the responsibility of 2nd team (Reviewing team) which perform steady irrespective of number of applications received.
You are observing number of applications received are not steady, some times number of receiving applications are increased and some times they are decreased because announcing the CAP is not the responsibility of 2nd team (Reviewing team) which works steady, it is the responsibility of 1st team (Completeness checking team) it cant works steady, it has to run with number of receiving applications, it has to check only limited parameters which require 5 minutes/ application. But 2nd team (Reviewing team) has to work deeply which requires time, so it works steady irrespective of receiving the applications. CC/BD charging and issuing PER is on the convenience of the 2nd team .
I posted the following statement for many times read it once again
there two teams are existing
one team is for completenss checks that is related to CAP
The second team is for processing fee and pre eligibilty review
the first team hand over the complete applications to second team.
the second team processes on its own convinience irrespective of first team .
the first team processes and announce the number of complete applications at different intrvals irrespective of second team .

Hi may I just ask regarding the points I am accounted for work experience as I am confused with the "continuous experience" requirement.

I'll be submitting my application as Federal Skilled Worker (with arranged employment) and there are things that I need to clarify and if you don't mind I need your two cents on this.

First, here's my Work Experience History:
1. Oct 2010 - Present - My present company - Chef (skilled) (13 months)
2. Jun 2010 - Oct 2010 - Previous Employer A - Chef (skilled) (4 months)
3. Sep 2009 - Jan 2010 - Previous Employer B - Chef (skilled) (4 months)
4. Jul 2008 - May 2009 - Previous Employer C - Commis Trainee or Chef Trainee (10 months)
5. Feb 2006 - Jul 2008 - Previous Employer D - Customer Service representative (non-skilled) (29 months)
6. Dec 2002 - Jan 2006 - Previous Employer E - Cook (skilled) (38 months)

My concerns are the following:
1) If you noticed I have two of my skilled jobs above (2 & 3), with 4 months duration only, will they still be included for assessment or only at least 12months work duration is/are eligible for points and assessment?
I have read this but still unclear to me though:
(You will earn points for the number of years you have spent in full-time (37.5 hours per week, or the equivalent in part-time), paid work.)

2) Job 4 is actually full-time paid apprenticeship for 10 months but I was not so sure of should I consider this as a work experience or education?

3) Job 5 is the longest duration of my employment in a skilled occupation however the company is already closed and I do not have anything that I could use as an evidence that I have worked for the company. Given my situation, I know that there's no way I could still have this assessed but is it okay to just put this in my personal history?

Hope you can help me with my concerns and looking forward to hear from you. Thanks.

- even 1 day job in last 10 years will be considerd
- will be considered in both
- you should explain to CIO that it is closed - mention your job duties your self - submit any supporting document for example pay slips.

I see. I had this confusion and thought that only work experience at least 12months continuous (in one employer) will be counted. Thank for your reply.

Just to add to the above statement, I always thought that the cap is the number of applicants who have passed the first stage of eligible review that will make it through the second stage which Positive Eligible Review (PER) will be issued. However, I believe that they are also taking into account individuals who receive Negative Eligible Review (NER) which would allow more applicants who have made it through the first stage to be moved onto the second stage.

Once they have fully received 500 individuals in the first stage and second stage has processed 500 individuals with PER, the cap will be closed.

I am basing this assumption on the fact that for nurses, the cut off date is estimated to be July 15th but the announcement of the cap being filled was not made until later. I have e-mailed the immigration consultant, Gateway to Canada <apol.apuntar@gmail.com>, directly and these people who have filed after July 15th did not receive the notice of cap reached until some time in October.

So I strongly believe it is just not the number of applicants they have received BUT also the number of PER/NER issued, allowing more applicants who have been counted towards the cap to move on to the next PER/NER stage.
