Separated from wife more than 1 year but not applied for divorce

Separated from wife more than 1 year but not applied for divorce, no document for separation. what should I mention in my form for martial status.

but I cannot bring her police and medical certificate which is a requirement for applying for PR.
what if I say separated.. and give separate note in writing.

currently I am not living in my home country and separated since more than one year. so my point can be valid. what do u suggest.

You can try, but you may be asked for legal documentation of the separation. The note may help.

You are separated. Your best option is to file for divorce and show proof of that.

filing a divorce is tough job due to laws are more in favor of Woman. even if I file I will be in another big problem.
can u suggest any other way.
