Hi everyone, so like the title, I sent my application to the P.O box address and I requested a signature so i could track it. (I wasnt able to track it any other way I was told by my local usps) because it was going out of country. I was aware of the courier option but I thought it was only for those within Canada for some reason. So anyways, is my application going to be returned because no one will be at the P.O box to sign for it? I'm super worried now. :/

no .. why would your application be returned? has it left the place you mentioned in your last topic?

Well I read somewhere previously, that because there is no one from CPC Mississauga at the P.O box when it will arrive that no one will be able to sign for it and they won't just leave it there... not sure if that is true information or not. I am just a nervous wreck right now, because it is in the mail and I hate sending things because I have also read a ton of awful stories about their applications being lost. :/ I hope you are right though.

And to answer your question, YES! It said on the tracking at 1pm today that it arrived at ISC NEW YORK, NEW YORK. So finally it isn't sitting at that place, it was there for a whole week. :(

it's moving .. so that's good news ..

there is never anyone at a PObox to sign .. so it won't get returned .. it will be just go in that box and sit there till someone from CIC comes and picks it up ..

now, havin said that, don't panic .. it's not like CIC will come after a week to pick it up, it everyday .. when? i don't know, but it's everyday .. so once you see that it's delivered, wait for an email from CIC to tell you that (now that's a 4 to 6 week wait) ..

no need to panic .. join one of the monthly threads .. depending on if you an outland or an inland applicant .. :)

all the applicants who send their application by mail (not by courier) are sending their packages to a PO BOX address. And they usually get signature too. In my case, I opted for signature on delivery and somebody signed it when it got delivered to CPC.
