Sent Application In April

Hi everyone!

So I mailed my application on April 16th, they received it April 18th. It is about a month later now. What I am wondering is, when can I expect that they will open the application, view it and get back to me approximately? Also, should I expect a response via email for sponsorship or by regular mail? (I gave them my email address on the application, however some people said they have supplied them with an email but they still responded through regular mail.)

It is currently taking about 90 days to get a reply on sponsor approval. So you have about 2 more months left to hear back.

Do you think its a problem that for july and august ill be in italy? if they send me information and all that? I am hoping they send me by email, because the application said if you write your email, they will send all correspondence through email... then that will be ok!

As long as you're a citizen, you can be anywhere during the actual processing of the application. Not everyone who submits email information is contacted using it, my husband got his sponsor approval via snail mail even with an email address. If you are planning to be abroad, I suggest you ensure that in addition to checking your email, you have someone trusted check your mailbox regularly.
