Hello everyone,

I am going to apply for my CIC application but i have some questions as my work permit is about to expire in few months...
My question is I work in a NOC B 2281 for 8 months and then NOC A 2147 for next 4 and onwards so will they consider me as a NOC A or B.

Another question is i got following scores in ielts :

L 6.5
R 6.5
W 5.5
S 8.0

as NOC A needs 6 in all categories so what should i do in this case? should i again take ielts or go with my current score ?

Thanks in advance

how did u appear in Writing.. was it tuff or what reason u can think of for yr low score ? it happen to me exactly..
my problem was the second essay i wrote more than 400 words and could be spelling mistakes ? whats yrs

i am afraid u need to appear in IELTS again it has to all 6 and above

good question, I had the same situation where I have a mixed experience between NOCA and NOCB. my IELTS results were good for NOCA though so I didn't care which one they process mine under. I hope they consider you NOCB and you don't have to do exam again!!

To be clear: if you claim an occupation as work experience, but your language score is not good enough for that level, then they will not count that occupation. They don't just choose one of the occupations to 'consider you as'.

So yes, the OP should take another exam and try to lift that writing score!

Exactly as LPS says. If you apply with two NOCs, you have to meet the requirements for both.

You can try to improve the IELTS score, you can also try the other exam, the CELPIP...
