friends.. sorry im in a hurry but i have 1 question because im about to go a doctor for a check up. for those who have taken their medical pls indicate/elaborate what are included in the blood test. did they have to check ur TSh, T3, T4, hormones (if there are any imbalance)? because i have symptoms of hypothyroidism and/or hormonal imbalance. Or will they just check for CBC which includes RBC, WBC. im thinking of going to an endocrinologist and OB to have them checked but if the general check up by the DMp doesnt include that then i might not go anymore because that will cause more delay (i will have to tell the DMP officer abt it right)... i am hoping for a real quick reply (hehehe) thanks sooo muct mwah mwuah!

Hi imbubbles,

Don't get worried about your hypothyroidsm now. The DMP will not carryout any hormone tests now for the medical as TSh, T3, T4.
Usually CBC and serology tests together with Urine analysis and Chest X-Ray. But go to endocrinologist and get opinion and medication.

thank you so much wilson. but do u think the DMP will require more tests/or do follow up tests if i said my TSH,. T3, T4 are abnormal? there's no way they can tell i have hypo if they wont check it...

Yes, if you tell your problems he may ask for further tests. As it is not a serious problem and very common to many of the female above 40, I suggest you don't have to present yourself unless specifically asked by DMP. But get a specialist consulation and treatments if necessary after your medical.Take care.
