I know I may need a lawyer for this, but still seeking some preliminary help in this forum. i am in canada since Sept 2009 going to grad school. I want to apply for FSW category in September '10 as I will be eligible to apply in Sept (completing one year). In the meantime, I got a very descent job elsewhere. My spouse works in Canada also for the last six months. Mine is a two years course which I will be completing this summer with only practicum report due (fast track). I can turn this job into practicum. What are my choices?
1. Can I leave canada and come back in September to apply for FSW? Because I will be still a student in practicum or on leave..
2. What will be the status of my spouse in the above case? Can she change her status as a temporary worker now since she has completed six months (she is in spousal/dependent visa with valid work permit)....or continue to work as my dependent?
