Will they send all your papers back if you have written in blue ink?

If nobody replies who knows for sure.. I would be calling CIC first thing and asking someone... maybe record the conversation if you want to. I always recorded the conversation, if for some reason they question why I filled out something a certain way.. I will be able to play them back what was said. My wife and I just happened to be using a black pen when filling ours out.. only later we noticed what it said... But I really wonder what in the world is so important that the ink has to be black?? Probably some very old law that has never been changed to include the modern times where blue ink pens have been invented. I too would love to know the answer to this.

I think it's a simple answer. They request black ink because it is darkest and photocopies and scans better. It might be a bit outdated now and not as important with better photocopy and scan technology but years ago it probably made a big difference.
I do not think doing it in blue ink will result in it being returned.
