Well Dreamcanada,

I think this email has been sent as a mistake .We see many blunders on part of VOs many times. Its one of them.In my view wait for another 2 weeks and send them another email asking about the return of passports.
In the mean time keep checking your e-cas.

Wish you all the best

thanks People for the encouragement . i am thinking of same.. may be its the email they are sending everyone...

Yaah you are right, this is the standard email for applicants world wide whose applications are ON HOLD TEMPORARILY .

my friend tim its only may 2011

My question was intended to 'belize'.. he sent his passports in Dec 2010...

The reply is irrelevant to your query. It must be a mistake. Making a follow up just 2 weeks after sending the passport for visa stamping is too early though. In your PPR letter there must be a processing time for visa stamping mentioned. In CHC London this is 6 weeks. I suggest not to send any follow up e mail before the end of this processing period. Wish you will receive your passport with the visa in it very soon/ God Bless.

hi ,
i applied for pR for canada in dec 2008 , when the new system was introduced, after so much waiting 3 weeks before they send me PPR request , i send my passport 2 weeks back. . yesterday i emailed them about my passports and i got this reply from them

[b]Dear Sir/Madam,

We are responding to your email below.

CIC is working to closely manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration levels plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories than room within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we are not in a position to assess your client's application at this time.[/b

now i am very much depressed , i think i have to wait again for one year to get my visa stamped. is there anyway to contact soemone to clarify about my case and any suggestions what should i do

Thanks

Dear Dreamcanada,

This is an automatic message which the computer sends itself wen it has a mail inbox. Wen I sent my docs, it was a month but I had no response. Then I sent an email to the CIO, it failed to deliver but soon after two weeks I got my AOR from the same email address. so Chill and wait.

Regards

I totally agree with u aspire. Making a followup in two weeks is early as it takes time. My elder brother applied in early 2009. He received his PPR in Nov, 2010. He sent his PPRs and they sent back by ARAMEX with visas stamped on them after 2 or 4 months, I dnt remember exactly but the time period of stamping the visa and sending back is not less than 3 or 4 months.

Hi DreamCanada,

just curious to know if there was any particular reason you want to check the status just 2 weeks after sending in your passports. Usually it takes little longer than a month for them to process and issue VISAs..

Anyways...I should say the response recieved does not sound encouraging for all of us here...

normally in chc kingston it takes only 10 to 12 days to stamp visa. as theya sk for passport at the very end. first they ask for medicals and then rprf fees and when everything is ok they ask for passports. the ppr letter says that ur visa seems to be ready for stamping.
my main worry is that i applied in dec 2008 under new system and submitted my meds in july last year, which is about to expire soon in next few days..

fazal_81,

It varies depending on the visa processing office. In CHC London its 4-6 weeks, in other visa offices its 2-4 months. May I know what is the visa office of your bother who got his passport back about 2-3 months after sending? Regards.

He got his PPs in february and this is normal, it takes two months from UK to Saudi Arabia for arrival of visa and PPs. There is no reason for the delay but Thanx Godit was quick and smooth process.
