Semester postponed by College - Not sure what to do (already in canada)

Hi,

i got offer letter of May semester in northern college. When i went on orientation, they told me that due to the limited seats they have postponed me to September session. I was shocked (naturally). they told me that they will send me september offer letter in 15 days. i dont have choice but accepted this.

Now the question is how should i communicate to CIC? Or, do i need to communicate? This is college delay but not on my part. I am not sure what do i do? Was anyone in this situation earlier and can guide me?

When i tried to call CIC call centre, it says due to high volume they cannot connect me to the agent. i am in dilemma..

Any pointers will be appreciated!

Tell the college to give this is writing... and then take that letter to the nearest CIC centre, ask for a counsellor and tell him to guide you trough further steps.
They'll extend your study permit most likely, and since this is not a mistake on your part.. no need to worry
