Selling agricultural land in India

I am on a work permit in Canada. I had an agricultural land in India which I just sold. It is around 200,000 dollars. Please let me know if and how should I be declaring it. Please let me know the rules and regulations involved in this. I want to follow all the legal protocols in transferring this money to Canada. Thank you!

Yes you have to declare the transactions on your taxes.
