I own agricultural land and have been managing it since few years, since its a family business. The records are kept in mother language on papers. Do i have to get thise translated? . And what kind of documentation is required to prove the management of the farm?

So this general self employed category which still quotes 62 months to process plus would expect requires the applicant to buy a farm or as with the Alberta program make a significant investment , 500,000 dollars in case of Alberta program. http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/immigrate/business/self-employed/index.asp Does not answer your original question but if you follow through the application requirements I expect the answer is there somewhere.

Otherwise look at one of the other streams if you have farming qualifications

Yes correct Federal Farmer is slow and investment is less about ($100,000) too while PNP farmer is fast 2 to 4 years and investment is $500,000
