Self Employment by PNP immigrants

Can anyone please let me know if I can be self-employed or start my own business if I have arrived in Canada on PR through Ontario - PNP (Human Capital Priorities Stream).
I am intending to stay and start business in Ontario.

My understanding is that once you have PR you have all the rights of a citizen (except the right to vote and their may be some government jobs you cannot get). So working for yourself should not be problem at all.

Once you are a PR, you have all the rights except:

• Get employed in a job that needs high level of security clearance
• Vote in Canada or run a political office here

Having said that you can start your own business, I also started my own business (Immigrated from India to Canada in 2016), let me know if you need any other information related to starting your own business.
